Apart from the main cast, the show was widely popular for its guest appearances as they would bring the best of the best. They always kept fans guessing and hence glued to their chairs.

The Hollywood star popped up on Friends playing the character of Ross’ highschool best bud Will Colbert.

Ironically, in the show, he hated Rachel. During the reunion of sorts, Rachel learns some hard truths about her highschool years.

Apparently Ross and Will founded a club named ‘We hate Rachel’ back in high school. To make matters worse they started a rumor that she had both sets of genitals making her a hermaphrodite.

We all know Ross only joined the club because he loved her but couldn’t get her at the time.

George Clooney

One of Hollywood’s sexiest actors George Clooney wasn’t left out on the fun. The then young Clooney played Rachel’s doctor alongside actor Noah Wyle.

The catch was that Rachel was using Monica’s health insurance hence posing as her. You can imagine how awkward the date they went on was later.

Danny Devito

Funnyman Danny Devito never fails to make an audience happy. The famous actor played the role of a male stripper hired by Rachel and Monica last minute for Phoebe’s bachelorette party. The episode remains one of the funniest yet sweetest one on the show.

Bonus points, he gets to perform an electric dance for us all.

Charlie Sheen

Legendary Two-and-a-half men star Charlie Sheen gave an outstanding performance as Phoebe’s Sailor old flame. The two hook up every few years when he comes above ground.

In season two, he comes to meet Phoebe but unfortunately finds her down with chickenpox. That doesn’t deter him from having the romance he hoped for after eight months underwater.

Reese Witherspoon

Reese Witherspoon appeared on the sixth season of Friends as Rachel’s younger sister Jill. The fact that they got a blonde for that particular role couldn’t have been any more fitting.

The blonde bombshell plays her spoilt sister role. She comes to Rachel after their wealthy father cuts her off for buying a friend a boat.

Her role kind of reminds us of a younger more naive Rachel whom we met in season one. Reese executes the bratty role perfectly! She even dips her toe in Rachel’s man Ross. Bold!

Bruce Willis

If one could choose one of the most memorable moments on the show, Bruce Willis’ role can’t miss on the list. The superstar played the role of Paul Stevens, the father of Ross’ young girlfriend Elizabeth.

Ross had a thing for the younger ladies but Paul did not agree to the union with his daughter.

He was dating Rachel at the time and coincidentally both couples found themselves in Paul’s cabin. After a bit of snooping and blackmailing, Ross finally got in his good books.

As a result of his amazing performance in Friends, he took home an Emmy for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series.

Julia Roberts

Pretty woman Julia Roberts appeared on the show as Susie ‘Underpants’ Moss, a childhood schoolmate of Chandler’s whom he embarrassed. Back in the day, he pulled down her pants in front of everyone hence she got the undesirable nickname.

Susie was not over it and took her sweet revenge on Chandler. She agreed to go out with him and seduced him into taking off his clothes and wearing her underwear at a restaurant. Needless to say, her revenge was sweet.
