What happens when you can’t do the job anymore? When the satisfaction and fulfillment the job gave you is no longer there? The smart choice is to change occupations, something a great many do.

Finding a job that pays you is the easy part when it comes to seeking out employment. What is hard is finding a job that you want to wake up for in the morning, something that makes you say “I’m so glad I applied for this position” whenever you walk through the doors of the building.

There are individuals who walk away from six-figure salaries just because the job had not provided the gratification they were looking for.

For Sarah Rizkalla, her job on Wall Street was no longer where she wanted to be. Despite the great job in finance affording her the lifestyle of living in NYC, she was done with position and wanted to do something besides stare at a computer all day.

She was 34 years old and finally wanted a change.

Six years later, she is now the editor-in-chief of a website aimed at equality and empowering women. Her position helping women to feel empowered and badass is now more fulfilling than it ever had been while working in finance.

Remember that they paycheck isn’t always the most important part of your job. Think about whether you groan or smile when you get out of bed in the morning.

What is your dream job? What have you always wanted to do? Is there a childhood dream that you’re now old enough to do? Don’t hesitate to follow your passion.
