Born Kevin Darnell Hart on July 6, 1979, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA, the popular American comedian cum actor has grown to be a force to reckon with in the entertainment industry.

The forty-year-old actor was born into a single-mother household. His mother Nancy Hart worked as a systems analyst for the Office of Student Registration and Financial Services at the University of Pennsylvania.
His father known as Henry Witherspoon was a drug addict who couldn’t live without the cocaine rush. He was always locked up when Hart grew up.
He lost her mother to cancer in 2007. The comedian has one older brother called Robert.
It is said people cope with their difficult life situations differently. Hart didn’t get into the wrong crowds to cope, instead, he took up humor and comedy as a way to let off steam.

Hart married his second wife Eniko Parrish on August 13, 2016, near Santa Barbara, California. The two are blessed with one son Kenzo Kash Hart (born November 21, 2017). The comedian was plunged into yet another scandal when he openly confessed to having cheated on his wife Eniko when she was pregnant.

Before fully embarking on his comedy, Kevin tried his luck at being a shoe salesman.
Hart started his comic skills while still in Philadelphia. He started off doing stand up comedy. His first gig was at The Laff House in Philadelphia under the name of Lil Kev. Its no secret that starting off wasn’t smooth sailing for him.
He has had instances where he was booed off stage and even thrown at a chicken. This is sure to mess with anyone’s confidence but the comedian persevered.
He started off trying to imitate the likes of Chris Tucker. He took a break from stand up and got into competitions around Massachusetts where he got better and better.
As his stand up got better, Kevin got his own show on ABC called ‘The Big House’. The sitcom didn’t last long and was discontinued after only six episodes.
The funnyman is known for his comedy tours which have cracked fans up for years. He embarked on his first tour for his 2006 hit ‘I’m a Grown Little Man’ in the year 2009.

Kevin Hart has appeared in many film and TV productions. His debut into acting was in the movie ‘Paper Soldiers’. He went on to act in movies such as Scary Movie, Death at a Funeral and The forty-Year-Old Virgin.
As he gained more fame and recognition, he landed more roles and eventually got himself on the producer seat to a couple of movies. He acted in the successful movie ‘Think Like a Man’ based on Steve Harvey’s book.
He has also acted in The Five-Year Engagement (2011), Ride Along (2014), About Last Night (2014), The Wedding Ringer (2015), Get Hard (2015), Central Intelligence (2016), Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle (2017) and The Upside (2019).
The comedian who is known globally was involved in a grisly road accident where he hardly made it out alive.
On September 1st, 2019, news broke out that the actor and two others were rushed to hospital after a near-fatal car accident. The three were riding on Hart’s vintage Plymouth Barracuda in Calabasas, California when the vehicle veered off the road.
No one died but Hart and the driver sustained severe injuries to their backs. Hart is still undergoing physical therapy but released a video on his Instagram page showing how grateful he is to still be alive.
