This Young Girl Dancing The Kiki Challenge Dance Despite Being Diagnosed With Cancer Will Brighten Your Day
The internet has given rise to a variety of dance crazes and stunts while playing popular music. Thanks to the power of social media, rapper Drake’s song “In My Feelings” gave rise to the Kiki Challenge.
The kiki usually involved a person jumping out of a car and dancing to In My Feelings while the vehicle moved. As dangerous as it was it took quite a bit of courage, mostly to stay faithful to the dance made popular by The Shiggy Show.
Dancing can be a great way to improve your mood and even strengthen the body in some ways. Maybe that’s why Abigail Lewis was able to pull off the Kiki Challenge at an Arkansas Children’s Hospital.
Abigail was diagnosed with Ewing’s Sarcoma, a type of bone cancer.
Despite that diagnosis, the little girl didn’t let that stop her from showing off the moves she learned while accompanies by her nurse. She displays quite a bit of courage participating in the viral dance challenge.
While conditions like Ewing’s Sarcoma cause people to have a lack of energy, the video on YouTube shows Abigail dancing like she has an infinite reserve to keep her going.
She may not have intended to be, but Abigail Lewis is a wonderful source of inspiration. The young girl has shown us that even when the odds are against you, you must not allow it to bring you down.
Take a page from this girl’s book and go for it. After a few weeks of physical therapy, she was able to build up enough strength to show what she achieved and have fun doing it.
If you’re a fan of Drake’s like Abby, have you already tried doing the Kiki Challenge? Did you manage to get it the first time or did you have to try again? Check the internet to see how it’s done before trying it yourself.
