Narcos: Mexico

For fans of the drug cartel world, this is the show for you. Granted, you will have to read subtitles if Spanish is not your first language, but that is what fans enjoy from the Narcos shows.

It is an American crime drama web television series created and produced by Chris Brancato, Carlo Bernard, and Doug Miro that premiered on Netflix on November 16, 2018.

It follows the story of Mexico’s first drug kingpin, Miguel Ángel Félix Gallardo (Diego Luna) with the first season highlighting his rise to power and the second focusing on his fall. 

Narcos Mexico released its second season this year in February and the ten episodes show the fall of Miguel because of what would be termed as greed for more power.



Created by Michael Petroni, Messiah is an American thriller web television series that premiered on January 1, 2020, on Netflix.

The series tests the faith of believers as it explores what would happen if Christ came back.

Sex Education

Sex Education is a British comedy-drama web television series set in the UK and filmed in Wales. It was created by Laurie Nunn who released the first season on 11 January 2019.

The series is centered in the high school universe where teenagers are increasingly becoming aware of their sexual needs and constantly looking for satisfaction.

It explores the story of a socially awkward teen whose mother is a sex therapist, skills he goes on to exploit and charge his peers at school.

The series stars  Asa Butterfield, Ncuti Gatwa, Emma Mackey, Connor Swindells, and Kedar Williams-Stirling. 

It became a critical and commercial success for Netflix, with over 40 million viewers having streamed the first series after its debut. The second series was released on 17 January 2020.

On My Block

On My Block is a teen comedy-drama web television series, created by Lauren Iungerich, Eddie Gonzalez, and Jeremy Haft.

It follows a quartet of bright, street-savvy friends who are navigating their way through high school, including all of the triumph, pain, and newness they experience along the way. 

On My Block season 3 is now out on Netflix across the world and after another jawdropping and heart-stopping ending.


I Am Not Okay With This

Based on the comic book of the same name by Charles Forsman, I Am Not Okay With This an American coming-of-age comedy-drama web television series. 

It was released on Netflix on February 26, 2020. Sydney is a teenage girl navigating the trials and tribulations of high school while dealing with the complexities of her family, her budding sexuality, and mysterious superpowers just beginning to awaken deep within her.

The show has received positive reviews from critics.

Love is Blind is a reality show that has hooked many Netflix viewers this year. The dating reality television series, produced by Kinetic Content and created by Chris Coelen premiered on February 13. 

Netflix says ‘Love Is Blind’ has been one of the most popular shows for the network since its 10 episodes dropped. It stretches the idea of love into a realm most people cannot imagine.

Single people start dating before ever seeing each other.

The most bizarre part of this reality show is that in order to see each other in the flesh, the couple must get engaged and plan a wedding in a matter of weeks. But not all of them will make it down the aisle.

Big Mouth is an American adult animated sitcom created by Nick Kroll, Andrew Goldberg, Mark Levin, and Jennifer Flackett. It is one of the funniest shows on Netflix today.
