The 90’s gave rise to a whole host of ‘boy bands’ and ‘girl bands.’ Complete with specialized dance routines and styles unique to each member, children around the world imitated their moves and sang along to popular songs. Once thought to be over, these types of groups have made a comeback in recent years.

One of the most popular group to ever perform is The Spice Girls. Even if you didn’t listen to them as a kid, a classmate or relative probably did. Good news, if you were a fan of their music then and now. The English pop band is set to make a comeback come 2019.

While the group is definitely returning to concert stages beginning in England, Victoria Beckham will not be joining her former bandmates for the initial tour.

When asked about the tour, Victoria had this to say:
“Being in the Spice Girls was a hugely important part of my life and I wish my girls so much love and fun as they go back on tour, I know they will put on an amazing show and the fantastic fans past and present are going to have a wonderful time!”

The only members confirmed to be going on tour are Melanie Brown (Scary Spice), Emma Bunton (Baby Spice), Geri Horner (Ginger Spice) and Melanie Chisholm (Sporty Spice).

The tour will begin at the Manchester’s Etihad Stadium on June 1, 2019.

Mel B poked fun at former bandmate Posh Spice by dressing up as her for Heidi Klum’s annual Halloween party.

Followers of social media will remember that Mel B had dealt with substance abuse problems behind the scenes of the 2018 run of AGT. The Spice Girl had publicly stated she would be attending rehab.

It seems, though, that the Spice Girl got the help she needed and can now accompany her group on tour.
